Massage Therapy (500 Hours)
 

Program Description

Students will gain the knowledge including modern Western Science and traditional Eastern theory.

 

This program will offer students an opportunity to understand 6 main parts in massage education.

 

  1. Western Science Classes: It includes Anatomy, Physiology, Kinesiology and pathology.

  2. Western Massage Techniques: it includes Swedish and deep tissue massage, such as touch, effleurage, kneading, friction, percussion and joint movements.

  3. Eastern Theory Classes: Introduction to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM)

  4. Eastern Massage Techniques: Basic Tuina and Reflexology

  5. Ethics, Business and Law: Students will also learn to follow Florida Laws and Regulations with good ethnics in order to become qualified massage therapists.  Students will learn basic massage business management.

  6. Students Clinic: Students will mainly focus on hands-on practice and peer review.

Advanced Massage Therapy (800 Hours)


Program Description

 

This is our feature program. Students will gain a wide range of knowledge including traditional Eastern theory and modern Western science.

 

This program will offer students an opportunity to understand 6 main parts in massage education.

  1. Western Science Classes: It includes Anatomy, Physiology, Kinesiology and pathology.

  2. Western Massage Techniques: It includes Swedish, Deep Tissue, Myofacial, Hot Stone, Sports,  Hydrotherapy, Lymphatic, Pre-Natal and Energy Massage

  3. Eastern Theory Classes: Introduction to Chinese Medicine, and Theory of Eastern Medicine.

  4. Eastern Massage Techniques: TuiNa (Chinese medical massage), Acupressure Point Location and Indication, Tuina and Therapeutic Massage for Medical Conditions and classes in Thai Massage, Shiatsu,weight loss  massage and Reflexology.

  5. Ethics, Business and Law: Our courses in professional ethics and business meet and exceed state guidelines. Students will learn many successful business management models. After graduation, you can confidently set up your own practice or open your own massage establishment. Students will also learn to follow the lasted Florida Laws and Regulations

  6. Students Clinic: Students will mainly focus on the hands-on practice and peer review.

This program meets and exceeds all the requirments for licensing in Florida and more than 30 states.
